PROCEDURES
There are two categories of patients:

Those who attend the daily camps at various locations, who are below poverty line (income less than Rs.18000/- per annum) are selected for free surgery and brought by the hospital's vehicle.

Those who directly come to the hospital for eye check up and pay Rs.100/- for eye examination / evaluation and advice. They come under the paying category.

The patients are normally admitted the previous day and discharged on the next day of surgery. They are advised to carry with them the medicines that they are using normally.

Paying patients are to effect the payment at the time of admission.

After surgery, the patients are counseled on the Do’s and Dont’s to be followed in the post-operative period. They are also given the printed instruction along with the discharge summary.

For all other eye disorders, the patients are informed to follow the medical advice strictly, by the counselors. They are further guided to come for reviews for which suitable advice slips are issued with date & time.
