TRAINING
A job oriented Para-Medical and Ophthalmic Assistant courses are conducted on a nominal fee.
Tamil Nadu Open University has recognized our centre as a programme study centre for Diploma in Health Assistant (DHA) course. The course is for one year. The students are taught the theory in all subjects & exposed to practical training in B.P.Jain Hospital, Sankara Eye Hospital & Sage Hospital, Nanganallur.
Similarly,a two year Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant course is being conducted on a nominal fee. One-year theory & limited hands-on training is given.The trainees who qualify will have to undergo an internship for one year for which a stipend is given by the hospital.
So far 356 Paramedical Assistants & 52 Ophthalmic Assistants have been trained.
